New Medical Shirt - Salt & Pepper
Product Description
This New Medical shirt, inspired by the medics of the 1953 Everest Expedition, combines practicality with historical significance. Crafted from durable heather marl chambray, it features reinforced ventilation holes and a unique design for comfort. With open-topped chest pockets and button closures, this shirt seamlessly blends functionality and style. Perfect for adventure or casual outings, it offers a modern take on vintage military apparel, ensuring both durability and a classic aesthetic. From the brand: Nigel Cabourn needs very little introduction, but deserves one nonetheless: having over 50 years experience designing and working in the menswear industry, with multiple decades-old brands and international stores with cult followings under his belt. His eponymous brand has a focus on practical and hard-wearing textiles from vintage workwear, producing inspired takes on classic military apparel from the last century. Like all of Cabourn’s designs, the New Medical shirt has a strong historical pedigree. The shirt is based on those worn by the medics on Edmund Hillary's successful Everest Expedition in 1953. It features a unique yoke and underarm construction with reinforced ventilation holes. The shirt pockets are open topped with button closures and pen pocket in the left chest pocket. Made from a heather marl chambray with a salt and pepper look with a small yarn count. Constructed with triple needle stitching and lapped seams for durability. The ventilation holes were made on antique machines. Fits true to size. Wash cold and hang dry. 100% cotton Chambray Ventilation holes Green contrast stitching Reinforced Yoke Two chest pockets with pen pocket Six front buttons Wash cold, hang dry Fits true to size Made in Japan
