New Medical Shirt in Indigo
Product Description
Inspired by the shirts worn by medics during the 1953 Everest Expedition, the New Medical Shirt combines practicality with exceptional craftsmanship. Made from 100% cotton chambray, it features ventilation holes, reinforced yoke details, and dual chest pockets, making it as functional as it is stylish. The indigo yarn-dyed fabric allows for unique fading akin to denim, enhancing its character over time. Ideal for both outdoor adventures and casual wear, it embodies quality and thoughtful design. From the brand: The design for the New Medical Shirt is based on the shirts worn by medics who participated in Edmund Hillary's successful Everest Expedition in 1953. With unique reinforcement covers round the yoke to the arm holes, and ventilation holes on the back and under the arm, this shirt provides comfort and breathability while wearing. The small yarn count, triple needle stitching and lapped seams are all signs of quality Japanese craftsmanship. The fabric is yarn-dyed in indigo that is then bleached, so you can enjoy the colour fading like denim with regular wash and wear. The embroidered holes (for ventilation) are done with very old specialist machines, which is why the edges of the holes are looped beautifully. Every feature on the Medical Shirt is carefully considered and has a function. 100% Cotton Chambray Made in Japan Contrast Stitching Ventilation Holes Reinforced Yoke Detail 2 Chest Pockets with Pen Pocket
