Cache was an American women's fashion brand established in 1975 in Brooklyn, New York, and later headquartered in New York City. It specialized in upscale women's apparel and accessories, particularly known for its glamorous and sophisticated special occasion wear, including an array of dresses, evening gowns, and cocktail attire. The brand operated over 200 stores across 41 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands at its peak, positioning itself as a premium-commercial retailer offering high-end styles without ultra-luxury price tags. Cache unfortunately filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2015 and subsequently liquidated all its stores, though elements of the brand have seen limited revival through licensing.
