From the brand: Iron Heart's 888 fit fills the "relax tapered" space in their jean line up, with a generous top block (high rise and generous thigh), and a full leg that gently tapers from the knee down, but maintains enough room to fit over an engineer boot. This particular iteration is crafted from an 18 ounce "vintage" selvedge denim, produced for the brand by the much praised Shinya Mills. Shinya is known for their authentic "vintage style" denim, and we think this fabric, while being sanforized, carries an irregular weave and a more noticeable texture than Iron Heart's flagship 21 ounce fabric, and is almost more similar to fabrics we have seen from brands like Fullcount or Samurai. Expect this fabric to fade with a slightly more saturated blue color over time, and to exhibit a beautiful, vertical slubbiness that shines as the indigo wears away.
