Horse Roughout WWII Type Jean Jacket (HSB-140-T) - Khaki
Product Description
The Y'2's '140' 1st Type Jacket captures the essence of WWII-style jackets with a modern twist. Crafted from lightweight reverse horsehide, it offers a soft drape and requires no break-in. The design features a classic collar, button cuffs, and a four-button placket, along with a comfortable 100% cupro lining. Functional elements include a single chest pocket and two internal pockets, making it both stylish and practical for layering. From the brand: Y'2's "140" 1st Type Jackets are a favorite of ours, with a design based on WWII era Type-I jackets - but stripped of the traditional embellishments like a buckle back or back pleats. This allows the leather to do the talking, showing off the beautiful and impressively horsehide roughout, as well as Y'2's masterful cutting, and ensures more consistent patina across the entire jacket. This edition is made from a lightweight reverse horsehide, clocking in at only 1mm thick, it could (joking) be called a "shirt-weight" leather, requiring no break-in and draping beautifully from the jump. It's got a single open chest pocket with classic copper rivet reinforcements, and another two internal pockets for storage. The front closes up with just 4 wreath-and-star donut buttons, and the placket features the traditional double-pleated design. It's lined with a smooth and comfortable 100% cupro through the body and sleeves. Comfortable on bare skin, it also slides easily over other fabrics, taking the fuss out of layering. Fits true to size. Do not wash, dry or dry clean.
