From the brand: This is a classic Type 2 jacket from Y'2, made even more exciting than your standard denim model by its steer suede body. There's everything we would expect from the style — two chest pockets, a dropped yoke, double-pleats on either side of the placket, an adjustable waistband, and a slightly-boxy, slightly cropped-fit. It's everything we love about the jean jacket version, but a little beefier and more premium, from the stitching to the hardware.
The leather is a 1.3mm full grain steerhide roughout suede (that's a mouthful). Specifically, this is the reverse side of Y'2's smooth oiled steerhide. Ultra soft and supple, this leather requires virtually no break-in whatsoever. It's dyed a rich camel brown, with a ton of tonal depth, and it leather absolutely pops in just about any lighting, but it looks especially incredible in sunlight.
