Viberg sizing is similar to UK sizing. We recommend 1 size smaller than your size as measured on a Brannock device. However, some people with wide feet (E/EE width) will be more comfortable in 0.5 size smaller than their Brannock measured size.
If you do not know your Brannock size, we recommend 1 size smaller than your most common sneaker size, 0.5 smaller than your Red Wing Iron Ranger size, or 0.5 smaller than your Alden Barrie last size.
The 1940 last is a new shape in the Viberg line. The fit is comparable to the 2030 last with a slightly flatter medial/interior side with less taper and less of an almond shape. This results in a fit that is more comfortable, especially for the big toe which has more room to splay, while still retaining a dressy/streamlined look.
