The yarns of this cloth have been rope-dyed in indigo and woven on traditional shuttle looms. The mill that dyes and weaves this cloth is located in Okayama, Japan, and was established in 1950. It is considered to be one of the best manufacturers of indigo denim in the world. The indigo is an intense, deep blue and, when new, there will be colour rub.
