Originally released in 2009 in commemoration of the "Redeem Team's" Gold Medal winning performance at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the shoe was never actually worn by Kobe in the Olympics. It returns in largely the same form as the original, with metallic gold panels on the toe and heel embossed with a snakeskin textures to go along with smooth gold on the collar and toe box. White side panels are overlaid with FlyWire cables and navy swooshes outlined in red. Navy also hits the mesh tongue and lining, while a gold Mamba logo on the tongue, embossed '10' on the heel for Kobe's Olympic number, and insole that feature gold medal graphics with the date 8.24.08 printed on them.
