Product Description

Featuring a bold indigo mud resist stripe, this shirt dress combines style with functionality. The wide round neckline, relaxed raglan sleeves, and side splits provide effortless movement, while hand-braided tie belt adds versatility. With invisible side pockets and a button front, it can be worn as a tunic, dress, or overcoat, making it perfect for layering. Ethically made from handwoven Khadi cotton, each piece is a testament to traditional craftsmanship. From the brand: 4 pieces were made in each size. With a wide round neckline and relaxed raglan 3/4sleeves finished with a loose elasticated hem, this dress allows easy and free movement . While it is calf-length, it has side splits to the knee to give it a flow in the skirt and allows layering with pants. It has invisible side pockets and a hand-braided tie belt made for our fabric offcuts as well as a button front feature for versatility. Wear it a loose tunic or summer cover-up, as a slimmer dress teamed with the tie belt. Open it halfway teamed with slim pants or skirt or wear it unbuttoned as an overcoat over a simple plain dress or tee and jeans. What is not to like? Indigo Stripes Print Our bold indigo mud resist stripe is inspired by the French bold stripes favoured in summer and symbolic of the French Riviera. Handloom Cotton Hand-spun, handwoven, locally sourced Khadi from Pushkar, India. Mud Resist The Dabu or mud resist print is a traditional printing technique of Rajasthan. Textiles are block-printed with a mix of melasses and mud which are then covered in sawdust and dried. When dip-dyed in natural indigo vats, the block-printed details resists the dye and allows the patterns to form. It is a time-intensive process that requires a long curing and subsequent washing of the fabric.
