Product Description

This versatile dress features a wide round neckline and 3/4 raglan sleeves, providing effortless movement and style. With its calf-length design, knee-high side splits, and functional pockets, it seamlessly transitions from casual to dressy. Crafted from handloom cotton with a captivating Jaipur floral print, this dress celebrates traditional artistry while ensuring comfort. Wear it as a loose tunic or cinched with a tie belt for a chic silhouette. From the brand: 4 pieces were made in each size. With a wide round neckline and relaxed raglan, 3/4 sleeves finished with a loose elasticated hem, this dress allows easy and free movement. While it is calf-length, it has side splits to the knee to give it a flow in the skirt and allows layering with pants. It has invisible side pockets and a hand-braided tie belt made for our fabric offcuts as well as a button front feature for versatility. Wear it a loose tunic or summer cover-up, as a slimmer dress teamed with the tie belt. Open it halfway teamed with slim pants or skirt or wear it unbuttoned as an overcoat over a simple plain dress or tee and jeans. What is not too like? Jaipur Floral Print Our Jaipur floral is a traditional Ajrakh print from Jaipur featuring delicate pine cone like flowers. Handloom Cotton Hand-spun, handwoven, locally sourced Khadi from Pushkar, India. Ajrakh Blockprint It is printed in the workshop of award-winning printers, Mr Girsh and his father. The traditional colours found in Ajrakh are deep which symbolises nature. The black is obtained through a mix of myrobolan (plum family) and iron shavings cured over 15 days. The fabric is first printed with a resist paste and then it is dyed, a process repeated several times to achieve the final design. Each Anjelms piece is signed by the craftsperson of  The Stitching Project that was involved in its making. Designed in Fremantle, Western Australia.
