Good to just slip on, looks like a boot when covered by pants or jeans. Solid, been wearing for about 3 years now, still feels flat and solid but as is Dr. Marten shoes.
It is the Mountain Hardwear Soft Shell. It is soft as there is a sort of microfleece inside and the shell itself is nice. Can really wear with anything.
