For the second installment of the FULLCOUNT × GDC collaboration, this special model was created together with CA4LA, one of Japan’s leading hat brands. The crown is made from 100% natural raffia, providing a lightweight fit and a material character that becomes richer with use. Raffia contains natural resins that give the fiber its distinctive flexibility. With continued wear, it gradually softens, conforms to the wearer, and develops a subtle natural luster. Its excellent breathability and light weight also ensure comfort during extended wear. The hatband is made from a braided denim cord created using cutting remnants from the production of the collaboration’s denim set-up. This upcycled detail makes full use of the material while creating a direct visual connection to the denim collection. The internal circumference measures 59cm and can be fine-tuned using the adjustment tape inside the sweatband. Paired with the denim or piqué set-up from the same collection, it completes the Western style proposed by FULLCOUNT and GDC.
