What is it?
Similar to the US Marine Corps’ FROG, US Army FRE, and British UBACS combat shirts, the OTW shirt is specifically designed to provide a cooler and safer solution to persons wearing load-bearing gear and body armour.
The facts:
The torso of the shirt is constructed of a lightweight/breathable/slightly stretchy fabric (Cotton Spandex 10 oz: 96% cotton, 4% spandex). Cotton material helps keeps you cool, dry, and comfortable when working while wearing armour and load-bearing gear.
Arms, shoulders and neck are constructed of authentic manufactured in Canada lightweight combat cloth material (100% cotton), for abrasion resistance. Arms feature large zippered sleeve pockets with generous amounts of loop fastener for a flag patch, unit patch, IRR flag, or any patch attachments you'll need. The shoulder pockets can be accessed via the zipper, or via the top hook & loop flap (see video for a visual of the pocket design).
Large elbow pocket on each forearm, optionally you can add some elbow padding into this pocket. Adjustable hook & loop cuffs for the perfect fit. Ventilated underarm area. Reinforced at the elbow, our shirts are rugged and ready for field use.
Detachable hood, with a minimal-looking zipper so it doesn't attract too much attention from the rest of the garment. Barrel locks on the hoodie strings to allow it to be tightened snugly around the face if desired. We've tested the hoodie under a helmet and it fits nicely. When the hoodie is detached, the zipper is entirely hidden when the neck cuff is folded down, turning it into a regular looking OTW shirt.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Hand wash, or wash on cold (delicate cycle), and hang to dry. Do not bleach,
do not
tumble dry.
What size should you order?
Just as you would a t-shirt (for a looser fit, we recommend going one size up). Covered by a 60 day warranty on defects in material and workmanship, this shirt really has it all and has been one of our most popular items over the years.
For reference, our cutter Ryan (150 Lbs, 5'7) is wearing a size large in the video, which is too big for him. A medium OTW shirt fits him nicely.

Larger sizes (2XL and up) are available on a custom order basis, and only time permitting. These are nearly twice as expensive to produce as we have only a limited amount of shirt fabric
