From the brand: We may not like to make one-to-one reproductions of vintage garments, but we're big fans of bringing old fabrics back to life. Meet Aertex - originally marketed as the world's first performance fabric, developed for the British Military back during WWII. The open weave airiness paired with the innate structure of the fabric makes this an easy choice for a warm-weather shirt - it's essentially a woven cotton mesh. We recreated this fabric with one of our partnering mills in Japan, where we often find ourselves looking if we are trying to revive old military cloth.
