From the brand: MODEL WEARS MEDIUM: Chest 40” // Waist 32” // Height 6ft 3" The famous quote "Fashion fades, style is eternal” couldn’t be more true than when introducing the iconic Harrington jacket. This long-serving masterpiece of menswear was originally designed in 1937 and became an instant classic. Like all &SONS garments, this jacket had to deliver on form and function. Perfect for transitioning seasons and ideal for adding an edge to your Summer evening outfit. Made from 97% cotton with a 3% stretch the jacket offers style and comfort. We’ve introduced brushed cotton flannel check to the lining which contrasts with both the blue and red editions. The &SONS details include matching elbow patches, heavy metal zips and a traditional shaped back vent panel.  Complete your outfit As stylish today as it was in 1937 Origins First created in 1937 by John and Isaac Miller and originally called the G9 blouson, which sold under the Baracuta brand. Although the jacket was named a blouson, through the years, brands have christened their creations ‘Harrington’ in homage to actor Ryan O’Neal. O'Neal wore a G9 in the popular TV series Peyton Place where his character was called Rodney Harrington. From Presidents to Presley himself, the Harrington has been part of mens wardrobes for decades. The jacket reached iconic status when style legend James Dean wore it in the 1955 film, Rebel Without a Cause.
