From the brand: The ANNI LU 'Love' and the ‘From Paris’ necklaces share an ancient and very special story of love. These unique and personal items are inspired and based on ancient coins that our designer Helle bought on a family trip to Paris.
The backside of the ancient coin originally featured a portait of Faustina, wife to the Roman emperor Antoninus Pius.
Faustina was also portrayed on the back side of the coin, that inspired the ‘Love’ necklace. On the front the ‘Love’ necklace features the Temple of Faustina, dedicated to Faustina after her death near Rome in 140 by a devastated Antoninus.
