It’s a place of wild and rugged beauty where fishermen’s garments have been designed, knitted and woven by their families for centuries. Inspired by this unique spirit, Tarlach de Blácam and Áine Ní Chonghaile founded the Inis Meáin Knitting Company in 1976.
