MeMadeLeim Jumpsuit Workshop - 17, 24, 31st January (Saturdays)

Experience the joy of sewing with this interactive three-day workshop, where participants create their dream jumpsuit. Beginners to advanced sewists can learn to adjust patterns and select fabrics, crafting a personalized piece from start to finish. Participants leave with hands-on skills, a PDF and paper pattern, and the opportunity for guided support throughout the process, making it perfect for anyone looking to enhance their sewing abilities and express their unique style. There is no set pattern for this class - the first person to book can request the style we make. - Join me for 3 days of sewing heaven - making your dream jumpsuit yourself! On the first day, we will first get to know each other and the tools we will use. Then, we'll talk through the pattern together - I will guide you in measuring yourself and how to adjust the paper pattern. We will then cut out your pattern from provided toile fabric and sew your toile (test jumpsuit). On the second day, with a fresh brain, we will discuss any changes that need to be made to the toile and adjust the paper pattern to reflect this. When we are happy with these changes, we will cut the pattern in your beautiful main fabric. We will make the bodice (top part of the jumpsuit) and then break for the day. Finally, the third day will be where we put everything together! We will start off strong by sewing the trousers, including the concealed zips. Then, we will join the bodice and trousers to form your full jumpsuit. If you feel comfortable, we can take some photos of you in your creations. We will then say goodbye with a little drink as we gather for the last time.  You will leave this workshop with the skills to make The Dan ezp Jumpsuit at home on your own. You will also be sent a PDF copy of the pattern (in case you need to cut a different size in the future) as well as the paper pattern you have worked with during the course. If you have your own sewing machine, you are welcome to bring it. I have machines you can borrow but they are first come, first served! Please get in touch after you have ordered if you would like to borrow a sewing machine.
