It sheds bulk by using an all-canvas or synthetic upper (no leather) and a lower profile cupsole. Elastic tongue “wings” keep the tongue centered and add a slip-on feel. It still has an STI Level 1 insole and Geo-Hex tread for grip, but overall the shoe is lighter and more minimal than the Barge LS.
