Together Moonstar & Arpenteur designed the SIDEWALK, a model that blends the essence of a classic gym shoe with references to 1980s skate culture such as the mid upper and the bumper on the outsole.
Moonstar has made vulcanised footwear in Kurume, near Fukuoka, since 1973.
Sourced in Japan, the suede leather and canvas lining feature a distinct texture and character. With the SIDEWALK, Arpenteur wanted to create sneakers offering enough protection to be worn through autumn and winter.
