And when something moves her, crystalline tears fall from her eyes, which, upon touching the water, transform into pearls. This is Jiaoren, the mermaid we drew inspiration from for our pearl collection.
But the most beautiful thing about the myth, besides the fact that her tears turned into pearls, is that she didn't cry out of sadness, but because each tear was a reflection of her soul and the immensity of the ocean.
