From the brand: This design came from a lucky find - buried in a stack of forgotten textile archives.
It reminded me of the village of Amalfi on the Amalfi Coast. The hand-painted tiles. The colors and shapes that are sun and sea worn. You don’t forget a place like that.
So I called it Amafi.
Woven in Como from pure silk on a jacquard loom, and hand-cut and sewn in a classic 3-fold construction, this tie has a rich texture and just the right amount of body. It has that beautiful, fluid drape you can only get with real artisan work.
