From the brand: One of the many anomalies of famed director, Stanley Kubrick, was that he was a Bronx born Jew who would go on to marry Christiane Kubrick (née Harlan), the niece of Veit Harlan. Veit Harlan was a German filmmaker known for directing Nazi propaganda films, including the notorious antisemitic film Jud Süß. This film was produced at the behest of Joseph Goebbels, the Nazi Minister of Propaganda. Despite this family connection, Stanley Kubrick's Jewish family accepted her, and they were married for over 40 years. Christiane was also a member of the Hitler Youth in her younger years. Her brother, Jan Harlan, worked with Stanley Kubrick as an executive producer on several of his films.
