From the brand: Bedford cord is kind of its own thing... it's got super-faint north-south ridges like a traditional cord, but it's less textured and more durable. Like corduroy without the fill. Named for the mill town in Massachusetts where it was developed, it makes a great 4-season pair of pants... dense and structured with touch of stretch in the mix (just a touch) for additional comfort. The Clift is our easier-fitting five-pocket silhouette, named for Montgomery Clift, one of the first to popularize jeans for the everyman.
