From the brand: This stunning belt is made from oak bark tanned bridle leather from the J&FJ Baker tannery in Devon, England. They are Britain's only remaining traditional oak bark tannery. This leather is exceptional - thick but supple, treated with wax and oils that have been buffed to a nice shine.
The slow 12-month tanning process is gentle on the fibers, resulting in a supple leather with superior tensile strength and durability that is ideal for heritage belts.
True to its English roots, this belt is paired with a solid brass 'Flat Horseshoe' buckle from Abbey England that is made using a traditional sand cast process and then hand finished/polished. The brass does not have a lacquer, so it will quickly show tarnish and patina as you wear the belt.
