From the brand: Boasting a fresh batch of ONI’s famous Kiwami denim, this new 910 jean is a slim/tapered offering with ‘hand made’ credentials. The modern shape of the 910 offers a comfortable mid rise which sits on the waist and tapers as it moves down the leg. With traditional hand sewn seams, a close eye has been kept on quality; no less than we would come to expect from this brand. Exposed punch-through rivets have been featured throughout for durability, and a nod to the golden days of denim production is given with the inclusion of exposed copper rivets on the back.
This beautifully slubby denim weighs in at a comfortable 16oz weight, and has been woven on vintage shuttle looms at a super loose tension to give a perfectly uneven patina. Mr Oishi has treated this rope dyed fabric to a healthy coating of natural indigo, a luxurious process which promises to yield beautiful fades over time.
