Crafted from 14oz indigo selvedge denim, these jeans offer a flattering leg-shaped fit with a low mid-rise. From the brand: Named for the West Fork of the Red Cedar River, the tributary that runs through the heart of the  Stockbridge-Munsee Indian Reservation; right past Erik & Amanda's family home.  They're cut with a very agreeable, leg-shaped fit: featuring a low mid-rise, they land somewhere between slim straight and slightly tapered, sitting close to the leg all the way down without ever hugging too tight. The leg opening is just big enough to comfortably fit your favorite engineer or cowboy boots, but not so wide as to look strange with sneakers or even sandals. They feature old-school construction methods, utilizing the best techniques of yesteryear to make a pair of jeans the way they used to be made - heavy duty chainstitching, tucked belt loops, lined pockets, button fly, custom rivet and bartack reinforcements, selvedge details, and a five pocket configuration. The pockets are of particular interest, as the front two have custom  Oneida Skydome and Ojibwe Lodge printed pocket bags, while the back two are partially lined, with an internally embroidered thunderbird that will fade into the denim of the rear right pocket over time. They're sewn up from a 14oz, 100% cotton selvedge denim loomed by Vidalia Mills in Louisiana, USA. Over time, the indigo denim will relax and fade, developing a unique patina for each different wearer. The rear patch is made from deerskin, hunted and tanned by Ginew themselves, and features a custom leaf stamp. Fits true to size.
