From the brand: Originally founded in 2006, Attractions began as a vintage reseller, importing pieces from the United States and the UK before starting their own production in 2011. Their experience in the vintage world provided them with the knowledge and inspiration necessary to develop their own styles, growing into an impressive and very special brand in a market saturated with alternatives.
With a deliberate focus on highly specific and often obscure styles from the last hundred years, Attractions produce some truly stellar and unique pieces, occupying a stylistic wheelhouse closely adjacent to "biker" but plainly distinct from other similar repro brands. We love a good pair of pants with a crease! Inspired by vintage pleated slacks, these are an old school dressy trouser made more casual with by their linen body and looser fit. They're cut with a nice high rise and relaxed top block, with fairly wide legs that taper just a bit down to a still fairly considerable leg opening. These pants take their name (and fit) from the four peats on the front face of the top block, which help give more shape through the hips while adding a touch of formality.
They're made from a fairly substantial 100% linen fabric that Attractions call a "three season fabric" - as in, it can be worn for 3 seasons out of the year. Given that linen is traditionally a warm weather fabric thanks to how breathable and fast-drying it tends to be, we'll let you guess which three seasons. Woven with a slightly irregular face texture, they feature a subtle luster throughout that we don't often see in linen yarns, as well as an immediately comfortable and cool hand (meaning that the fabric feels slightly dry to the touch).
They're finished simply, with all the details we'd expect and nothing more - herringbone twill pocket bags, a zip fly with hidden hook and button, four external pockets, custom woven labels, and deep pressed creases.
