Product Description

Crafted in Japan, this tee boasts a unique style derived from vintage sports jerseys, featuring a relaxed fit for all-day comfort. Made from 100% cotton slubby tubular knit on vintage looms, it showcases no side seams and a single chest pocket for a classic silhouette. The custom print adds a quirky touch, making it a standout piece for any casual outfit. With careful washing instructions, this tee is designed to maintain its quality for years to come. From the brand: Produced in Japan by Warehouse & Co, John Gluckow garments are designed in collaboration with John Gluckow himself, a long time industry veteran and respected vintage collector. Each piece is functionally familiar but stylistically unique - not interested in simply replaying the hits, John finds weird, funky, and obscure styles that nobody else is making and rebuilds them to the highest quality. Just getting the fabric for producing these tees is hard enough, as it's entirely knit on vintage sinker weave looms from the 1960s. Getting the fabric just right, the way Warehouse has, is even more challenging. These are what Warehouse call the "cool cousin" of their Cotton Slub Tees, featuring the same stellar fabric and construction - but with a slightly different fit, being just a touch more relaxed throughout, for a comfortable and classic silhouette. Taking its design and name from a vintage sports jersey produced sometime between the 40s and 50s, the Skulls Athletic Club was a real group with actual members (presumably) and a very cool name (objectively). Warehouse & John Gluckow have as of yet been unable to determine what sport(s) the Skulls played. True to size. These will shrink about 1" in all directions on the first wash, and stretch back out.
