The No. 9 denim is a completely custom selvedge fabric, produced exclusively for Indigofera by Nihon Menpu Mills in Japan. The idea behind this denim is to have a denim that is so tightly woven and so packed with Indigo, that no white will show through from the weft. This tight weave combined with a dark rope dye on the warp yarns create a very dark denim that develops slow, high contrast fades over time.
The fit is excellent, with a nice tall rise, full thighs, and a straight leg. The double knees feature openings at the bottom, where knee pads could be inserted if desired, and the outer left leg features a small tool pocket. Custom Indigofera copper rivets reinforce stress points, making sure these hold up to whatever you decide to throw at them.
