It hangs open nicely, lacking any closures down the placket, only staying closed when worn with the belt tied and collar buttoned.
Made from a plush medium weight wool flannel that's woven with 85% wool and 15% nylon yarns. It weighs in at about 12oz, and feels substantial without being too warm, breathing fairly well and staying comfortable during transitional seasons. It has a fairly structured drape and a slightly scratchy texture reminiscent of vintage blankets and old school hunting flannel thanks to its grid-like vicente weave.
