Lee Archives WWII 'Loco' Denim Coverall Jacket - Raw
Product Description
This WWII-inspired coverall jacket features a minimalist design, emphasizing durability and functionality with three external utility pockets and flat felled seams. Crafted from 11.5 oz jelt denim, it offers an oversized fit with raw fabric for a timeless aesthetic. Adorned with 'One Star Laurel Wreath' buttons and a painted leather patch, this piece captures the essence of historical workwear while ensuring modern style and comfort. Made in Japan for exceptional quality. From the brand: The paired down details of this WWII coverall jacket call back to a time of rationing, and political and economical turmoil. Due to the war effort, many companies were forced to reduce their material use, so that metals and fabrics could be used in the military, and this design does that authentically. Cut from a 11.5 ounce ‘Jelt Denim’, this oversized coverall boasts only three utility pockets on the outside, and none on the inner. As for the buttons, the brand have included a set of ‘One Star Laurel Wreath’ buttons, which use less metal than the ‘tuck’ model, but have included flat felled seams throughout for durability. A rayon ’31’ brand label sits on the left chest, while a beautifully painted leather patch sits in the neck line, which nods to the industrial work of the time.
