The Type 85 Jacket gives the impression of a reversible jacket, and it can be worn in reverse, but that's not really how it was designed. It's a riff on a vintage Canadian military jacket, but cut and sewn together as if it was inside-out, with a heavy cotton canvas interior and a smooth cupra body. Like some other IssueThings styles, the hem is left and intended to fray overtime, further emphasizing the conceptual and deconstructed nature of the style.
Because of it's fake "inside-out" construction, the interior "lining" fabric is a heavyweight cotton canvas with a slightly weathered texture developed from washing. The outer shell is a much softer and lighter-weight cupra fabric, with a smooth hand and fluid drape, visibly hanging off of the much sturdier interior fabric. Closing up with big metal buttons, it's got two external pockets for your hands, and nothing on the inside, to ensure you wear it the correct way (with the pockets on the outside).
