From the brand: Like so many of our favorite brands, Attractions was born from an appreciation of vintage clothing. Originally founded in 2006, Attractions began as a vintage reseller, importing pieces from the United States and UK before starting their own production in 2011. Their experience in the vintage world provided them with the knowledge and inspiration necessary to develop their own styles, growing into an impressive and unique brand in a market saturated with alternatives.
With a deliberate focus on highly specific and often obscure styles from the last hundred years, Attractions produce some truly stellar and unique pieces, occupying a stylistic wheelhouse closely adjacent to "biker" but plainly distinct from other similar repro brands. The biker equivalent of the sheepskin flight jacket, grizzly jackets combine sturdy horsehide bodies with extensive mouton sheepskin trims, armoring any wearer against wind and cold. Attractions' Lot. 500 Grizzly is one of the best we've ever handled, with a gorgeous white mouton body that contrasts the black horsehide beautifully.
Inside, it's lined with a 100% cotton houndstooth twill through the body and all-black cotton twill through the sleeves. True to its early 20th century style, the front features a half-belt with stainless hardware to really secure things when the cold gets intense, and the sleeves fold down with button cuffs. For storage, it's got just the essentials - two side entry hand pockets for stowing your goods or warming your fingers.
It's got a "classic" fit, which in this context means that there's nothing particularly exaggerated about the way it sits on your body. Fitting true to size, it layers comfortably over other garments, but should only be worn beneath another layer in the most dire of situations - as containing this much heat beneath a different garment may cause an explosion (satire).
