How to use a Tachymeter
This automatic chronograph comes souped with a tachymeter—a scale on the bezel that converts time elapsed into speed travelled. It's the first automatic chronograph we developed, but not the last.
TACHYMETER STEPS
STEP 1
Start the chronograph when the unit of distance begins, e.g. when the vehicle passes a mile marker.
STEP 2
Stop the chronograph when the vehicle has traveled the distance, e.g. when it passes the second mile marker.
STEP 3
Note where the chronograph second hand stops. That's your speed per hour. To reset, press the bottom pusher.
