Fabric Content: 100% khadi cotton, natural dyed
Natural khadi from Udyog Bharti, embroidered in the Ari chain stitch by Ashmat Ali of Kolkata, who has carried this craft in his hands for more than twenty years. Each panel is placed on a frame before the garment is made, giving him the space to guide the needle evenly across the cloth. In the finished fabric, the openness of the khadi sits with the raised texture of the embroidery, so that what we hold is both light to wear and alive with detail that shifts in light and movement.
