Our brand new skirt combines our signature hand smocked waistband with wonderfully flattering central button button fastening.
Named after Mary Seacole, a pioneering nurse and heroine of the crimean war, who published her story in the Victorian bestseller, “The Wonderful Adventures of Mrs Seacole”, the skirt features a pleated and elasticated
waistband emblazoned with our stacked lattice smocking design in pale Rosehip threads and top-to-bottom front button fastening which is fixed through the waistband, then buttoned to the hem.
Made from a winter-weight mulberry needlecord, the high waist gently hugs the hips for a super flattering smooth fit, framing the tiered skirt full of swish. Pair with boots and our hand smocked blouses for your very own wonderful adventures this Autumn-Winter.
