In June of 1972 Title IX was enacted into law, requiring fair and equal monetary treatment of the sexes in all areas, including athletics. This June will mark the 50 year anniversary of Title IX, a milestone close to our hearts at Boathouse Sports. With 84% of the Boathouse workforce being comprised of women, along with the brand’s special interest in the sporting community, it was only fitting that we do something to honor this anniversary and the longstanding impact it has had on women in sports.
