Way back when I was first wondering where I was going and what I wanted to do with my life - I found myself putting together a board of things that inspired me: swatches of my favorite fabrics, chips of my favorite colors and photographs of my father & grandfather rocking their old school style.
I hadn't been this excited in a long time, I was seriously 'in the zone'.
When I caught myself and 'came to', I saw my little dachshund Gavin looking up at me, he was watching me the whole time.
The look in his eyes was confirmation that I had found what I was meant to do.
That original inspiration would eventually become Blade + Blue.
This logo reminds me of the uncompromising loyalty & support of that little dog, my best friend in the world.
