Composition:
Outer: 100% viscose.
Viscose is a plant-based silk - it's sourced from wood pulp.
Please note that in order to smooth the wood pulp fibres, chemical intervention is used in the production process.
Lining: 60% Bemberg cupro & 40% viscose.
Cupro consists of recycled cellulose that are sourced from discarded linters, a by-product of cotton processing. Bemberg is a leader in sustainable cupro production as they manufactured on a closed-loop production system, recovering and reusing copper and ammonia used to treat the fibres.
Production:
Ethically made in London at a small-batch production studio.
Circularity:
This dress is recyclable (via non-household textile recycling) and is biodegradable at the end of its life.
Packaging:
Our products are shipped in 100% compostable mailers, which are both home and commercially compostable, once the shipping labels have been removed. Our soy-based ink stickers are also compostable.
