where he mentioned that the only shorts he wanted to wear were short and WIDE (like those guys in Ventura used to make). Last summer's iteration were cut from a hyper lightweight nylon that made them an incredible trail running short. That said, we always wanted to be able to swim in them too, and the lighter unlined nylon made them a bit too revealing to do that comfortably. recommended we take the mesh lining fabric usually reserved for making the built-in brains of a swim trunk and use it to fully line the style. Now the Warren works as well under water as it does on dry land.
