This is a 13.5oz. indigo x black selvedge from Vidalia Mills in Louisiana. At first glance this fabric looks like a double indigo. But look closer and you'll see it's woven with an indigo warp and black weft, meaning the front side of the fabric is indigo and the back side is black. This gives an interesting contrast when cuffing the jeans. The black yarns are dyed all the way through but the indigo yarns have a white core which means the fade potential is strong here; exactly what us denim heads look for.
The intricately textured 12oz. heavyweight sashiko pocket bags and fully lined back pockets comes standard on all our jeans and add a great tactile feel every time you reach into the pockets. Our signature rear utility pocket helps protect your wallet from a knife or a pen if you use the same pocket for both. Matching navy thread and antique brass hardware round out the design.
