Product Description

The vintage Japanese Sukajan jacket, a nod to 1950s American GIs, blends timeless style with rich history. This crafted piece features a luxurious rayon and silk blend, accentuated by intricate embroidery. Ideal for layering and versatile enough for various occasions, it’s a stylish investment that promises to remain fashionable for decades. Each jacket carries a distinct character and slight signs of wear, enhancing its unique charm. From the brand: Originally created for American GIs to bring home after the post-war occupation of Japan as literal souvenirs, these vintage Japanese Sukajan/Souvenir Jackets are a timeless piece. Often incorporate rayon and silk and, in some cases, were actually constructed from excess silk salvaged from military parachutes. This special vintage collection of Japanese Sukajans are replicas of 1950s Japanese Souvenir Jackets. Carefully selected from Japan, these jackets will still look good after 30 or 40 years down the road.  Wear them, love them, and hand them down.
