Product Description

Celebrate the charm of vintage Japanese craftsmanship with this exquisite Sukajan jacket. Originally designed as souvenirs for American GIs, each piece features stunning embroidery that tells a story of heritage and artistry. Made from luxurious rayon, it combines unique designs with timeless style, ideal for any wardrobe. Designed to endure and age beautifully, this jacket is perfect for those who appreciate history and craftsmanship in fashion. From the brand: Originally created for American GIs to bring home after the post-war occupation of Japan as literal souvenirs, these vintage Japanese Sukajan/Souvenir Jackets are timeless pieces. Often incorporate rayon and silk and, in some cases, were actually constructed from excess silk salvaged from military parachutes.  This special vintage collection of Japanese Sukajans is a replica of 1950s Japanese Souvenir Jackets. The back side showcases beautiful Japanese embroidery and designs. Carefully selected from Japan, these jackets will still look good after 30 or 40 years down the road. Wear them, love them, and hand them down. Made by Kula by Eternal 100% Rayon Dry Clean Only Product #: SJ403 Code: NWS Tagged size: M APPROX.
