IHSH-346-BLK 10oz Recycled Nylon Mechanic Work Shirt Black
Product Description
Crafted from 100% recycled nylon derived from old fishing nets, this mechanic work shirt features a durable serge weave that is both soft and breathable. Designed with military-style buttons and classic flap patch pockets, it perfectly blends vintage charm with modern sustainability. The black acid-dyed fabric ensures lasting color retention, while thoughtful construction details like felled seams and a cotton twill-lined placket enhance its durability. Ideal for casual outings or layered with military fabrics, this shirt brings a touch of classic style to any wardrobe. From the brand: Iron Heart's original mechanic work shirt, constructed from a 100% nylon fabric that is recycled from old fishing nets. The yarns in this fabric are acid dyed and therefore will be more reluctant to give up their colour. This fabric is custom made proprietarily for Iron Heart (like all their fabrics) in an environmentally sustainable fashion, by recycling old fishing nets to create fabric, both reducing waste while crafting a truly interesting fabric. The serge weave gives this a substantial, textured hand, while remaining soft and breathable due to the fabric and the loose weave. With the addition of the simple pockets and military style buttons, this becomes a classic mechanic shirt with a repro lean that allows this to fill the role of the ever classic Vietnam-era sateen CPO when paired with military fabrics, but remains more of a classic garage shirt with some more casual pieces.
