Product Description

Inspired by WWII military styles, these John Lofgren Military Desert Boots embody a rugged yet refined aesthetic. Crafted from premium Japanese suede and featuring a robust construction, they stand out with double-stitched seams and a cushioned leather footbed. With their versatile design, these boots pair effortlessly with denim or chinos, making them a staple for smart casual outfits. Lightweight yet durable, they promise comfort without compromising quality. From the brand: John Lofgren's 140 last runs large, we recommend sizing down one full size from your standard Brannock measurement. Consider a half size if you have a very wide foot or high instep.  John Lofgren Bootmaker Military Desert Boots are inspired by the originals made for South African and British soldiers in Cairo's Khan el-Khalili bazaar during WWII. Desert boots gained traction in the American market from the 1950s with everyone from farmers to beatniks wearing them. In the UK they were especially popular with mods in the 1960s all the way up to the 1980s. They continue to be the ultimate smart casual boot that's lightweight and insanely comfortable. Pair them with denim, chinos and military style pants and shorts. JLB Military Desert Boots, though lightweight, are noticeably heavier than the average desert boot due to the robust construction. The leather insole is stitched together with the upper, lining and midsole. Others cut cost by leaving out the insole during the build and in the final step glue in a leather insole or some cheaper material like Puron. Our JLB Military Desert Boots are on a different level.
