This 100xv fabric is a brand new version of 3sixteen's stonewashed denim, featuring a more vintage-inspired wash with a lighter blue shade, and also uses 3sixteen's 14.5oz 100x Japanese selvedge denim as the base fabric, rather than the lighter weight 12oz Kibata selvedge normally used for their stonewashes. This heavier denim offers a more substantial weight and hand feel, as well as a more vintage-esque subtle texture that really pops with wear and wash, so the texture is showcased quite well within this denim. Ultimately, the heavier 100x fabric is the correct choice for a vintage-inspired washed jean, as it more accurately captures the 14oz weight and subtle natural texture that shuttle-loomed denims of the time were known and valued for.
