The artwork, originally acrylic on canvas, depicts a faraway desert valley in the American Southwest. It was professionally scanned, tiled, then digitally painted on to create the psychedelic blue and brown stripes seen on the pant today.

Sustainability
The Monument Pant was printed using the reactive digital printing technique onto bamboo plain.
Digital printing reduces water consumption by up to 50%, as compared to roller or silkscreen printing. As well, there is less ink wastage and therefore less ink discharge.
Bamboo is an efficient crop as its stalks grow very quickly and closely together, while normally only needing rainwater to maintain growth. During the fibre processing stage, chemical intervention is used to turn bamboo fibres into silky fabric. M
oving forward we aim to source bamboo fabric that has been treated only through a Lyocell (closed loop) process or that comes from a certified partner.
These pants are biodegradable.

These pants are cut a bit large in order to have more necessity for the tied waist. If in doubt, size down.

Packaging
Our apparel products are shipped in a 100% compostable mailer. After removing the shipping labels, your mailer will decompose after six months in a household compost, or after three months in a commercial compost, leaving no harmful residues behind. Our stickers are also compostable as they are printed with soy-based inks.
Our tissue paper is made of 100% recycled pulp and our comp cards are printed on FSC-certified paper.
