Sheep wool is easy to keep clean. Wool is known to have antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, and is also breathable, absorbing perspiration and moisture while keeping the skin dry. Thus, it is not necessary to wash wool products often, in fact, it is better for the environment to steam iron or air them.  When needed to wash, wash by hand in cold water or in the washing machine, as long as you use the wool program and keep the temperature at 30 degrees maximum. Use a wool detergent if wanted and do not centrifuge.
